Photos from Moses Gauntlett Cheng at NYFW shot by photographer Maya Fuhr.
Review by our fashion correspondent Jordan Minkoff.
As night fell on a bedridden NYC, a blur of senses were on hand for the flushing of the well at AW16. It is a NYFW must to expose the feeling of a flushing, and so, just like last year, the explanation will be kept to lines yet seen. And so whether a time to work over muddled wool or a time to tear into the underside of a mossy-rock, the pieces from Moses Gauntlet Cheng may very likely set a new standard in an era of grandfather-chic. And so just as before the sound of trow-drop filled the air. Piping hot tones marched alongside an ice-white military to the hodgepodge buffet. At this point the stand-out numbers tumbled out into the room, puffed up a dusty sex appeal and left our backs imprinted with antique grit.
