Premiere: Cyber’s Where We Belong

Today we are very excited to premiere the latest song from Montreal native electronic pop/RnB singer, Loedie Domond AKA Cyber. “Where We Belong” is an anthem for self love, Cyber tells us. The artist asks herself, “Where have you been girl, it’s been a long time.. are you ok?” This is a song about reconnecting to who you are, about checking in with yourself and taking care of yourself.

Prompted by her studies in jazz singing, which she admittedly disliked, and working with the well-known Jireh Gospel Choir, Cyber began performing as a backup singer for various Montreal acts. After her song “Down Low” with Kaytranada gained traction, Cyber went on to sign with Ghost Club Records and branch out on her own.

“Where We Belong” is a poignant merging of Cyber’s effortless vocals and a building rhythm of emotion and fervour. The song was produced by fellow Montreal artist, Lust. Cyber’s new album Equilibrium comes out in January on all major platforms. Catch her perform live at Slut Island’s Head & Hands fundraiser on Dec 1st at Casa del Popolo.
