Back Stage at Jenny Fax S/S 2014

I first discovered Jenny Fax when I was asked to model the A/W 2013 collection. I didn’t know much about the brand before except for the crazy anime costumes Mikio Sakabe (Jen Fang Sheuh’s husband) designed a few years earlier. When I arrived to the fitting and saw the collection for Jenny Fax I felt like I had discovered the wardrobe of a Japanese Enid from Ghost World who lived in a messy teenage Tokyo apartment during the end of the Showa period. The designer, Jen Fang Sheuh, originally from Taiwan, started Jenny Fax as a presentation of her childhood interests and remakes of things she wanted as a child but could not own. I of course agreed to model again for the S/S 2014 collection and these are the photos I took backstage. The models used in Jenny Fax’s shows are usually young designers, art students, school girls, and friends. The atmosphere was amazing, every girl’s outfit resonated with their personality like cartoon characters.
