Now with all this talk about NYABF let’s not forget about Independent Art Book Fair! Today we preview Monday, a short zine that journeys through each day of the week and the different emotions that come with them. Starring a cute sad clown, we track feelings of apathy through the beginning of the week, ending with recovery on SundayMonday is one of three zines from ceramicist, embroiderer, and overall sweetie Violet M to be released at the IABF this weekend. Hand-drawn felt-pen illustrations printed and hand-bound into small little booklets, Monday is the perfect addition to any zine-lover’s library.

Monday, and Violet’s other releases, will be presented alongside a dream-team feminist collective’s collection of print projects at Jo Rosenthal and Emma Orlow’s table titled Nadine (named after the imaginary friend character from the 90s children’s cartoon, Arthur.) All profits from the table will be donated to Henry Street Settlement: Third Street Women’s residence. Head on over to their table if you are passing through IABF!
