Today we debut the new look-book for Montreal-based line Gérald et Fatine. Simple yet unique and designed collaboratively by Gérald Lajoie-Restrepo and and Fatine-Violette Sabiri, their SS17 collection is another unisex collection from the duo, borrowing shapes and fabrics traditionally reserved for pyjamas or undergarments. From this conceptual foundation springs hoodies, t-shirts, suits, small accessories and for the first time, shoes. The two usually work collaboratively, settling on textures and colours and drawing up patterns before Gérald sews all the garments in their home studio. For this collection, however, they split to independently design their own pair of jeans. This endeavour produced the eponymous “Gérald” and “Fatine” jeans. Take a look at their latest work here, and online at their newly debuted website!
