Hello world! We are extremely excited to premiere this single and video from all-time favourite local pop sensation Mozart’s Sister. For those of you who are familiar with Mozart’s Sister’s impressive brand of up-beat, polished pop music, this news will be literal music to your ears. As the 1st single off of her upcoming release, Eternally Girl is a song about a girl who hasn’t quite become the grown up she expected to become and instead embraces a fluid and ephemeral way of life. The line, ‘I could be the one that you love’ leads us to believe that anyone can fall in love with anyone, and that the future is contentedly unknown. This song could be the one that you love! In fact, I’M SURE IT WILL BE! Here Caila revisits a childhood love of ’90’s dance pop, capturing the spirit of the era in a way that is colourful and cartoonish and earnest. Reminiscent of innumerable pop classics like Janet Jackson’s Velvet Rope, this album is undoubtedly the most exciting release from Mozart’s Sister yet. I have never danced harder at a live show, or been more impressed with the versatile vocal ability of a human I know.
